bored bored bored. I have been bored with this winter thing. Bogart has explained how cold and wet it's been here in P-Town. Also there is this Christmas thing that takes up a lot of time. I'm not even allowed to eat the decorations like I could last year.

I HATE the way Santa stares at me with those unblinking eyes. Its not natural!

There are a few indoor activities that I enjoy during winter. one is playing chase in a big circle around the house. I bring my toy, taunting my mom with it. Then she chases me all around the house in a big circle. I like to drag my tiny older cousin around the house. The very best thing about staying inside is serious snuggling time!

Balloons

My new favorite toy is balloons. These are great because they are cheap and once I explode one I can just blow up another one!

Here is a short tutorial about how to make your own balloon ball toys.

First you have to get that balloon in your mouth.

Now it’s going to be all floppy all over and flat at first. This may make you want to try to chew it up and swallow it but don’t do that! Miro may have some trouble with not eating it at first but you’ll never end up with a balloon if you keep eating them!

OK you have to try to find the sticky outy part that has an open end. Hold the balloon by that part and get the rest of it hanging outside your mouth.

Now blow, like when you go up to your moms face real close and breath demon doggy breath on her. The goal is the trap all the doggy breath inside the balloon.

Keep blowing. The balloon will fight back, and try to make the stink breath go back in your mouth so make sure you tell that balloon whos boss!

Keep blowing, and blowing, and blowing.

The next part is really tricky! Once you have your balloon to the proper size you have to tie a knot in the sticky outy end.

I recommend for first timers to ask your thumbed companions to do this for you. It takes lots of practice. My method, you can see here, involves holding it down with one paw and wrapping the sticky outy around a long tooth, then I use my tongue here to tuck the end back over and Tada!

You are done!

Rainy Day

Lets not get up for work today.

I don't care if you are going to work, I'm not! That window will just have to look out itself all day.

BARK DAY!!!!

Friday the 16th was My very first Barkday! We have lots of pictures.
Mom got Moose some barkday presents too because he has never had a barkday party and we didn't want him to be sad. I couldn't wait to open the present. I whined and whined until they gave in and let me open it. There was lots of stuff in the bag but at first Moose didn’t know. He snatched the first thing out of the bag and ran away! He was going to hide it from me under the table. Well I have my own Moose I don’t need yours! There was soo much fun stuff in the bag!Moose would roll on his stuff and then pile it all up like treasure! I like to fling my stuff all over the room and lay in the middle of it all.

WARNING WARNING I am flashing some serious teeth below, I don't want anyone to blush.

Justice is best served at body temperature

After only a day back in the blogiverse I realized how much I missed it. Thus I also realized how much my mom should be punished for being so lazy these past months. Don’t worry friends, justice has been served. Today, when Mom was in the doggie store trying to buy my dinner…. I peed on her leg.

Hello I'm back!

Hello Friends!

Well I have been gone for a long time now. I’ve been planning on coming back but Mom has been super lazy. It’s almost my bark day and I read about how Sharky and Deetzy want us all to come back to the blogosphere so its time I heed the call.
I’ve learned lots of things since you last heard from me. Probably the craziest thing is that sometimes when I have to go pee my back leg will pop up off the ground. It’s strange; I just feel the need to pee like a tripod. It doesn’t happen every time so I’m still working on why. I’ll let you know if I ever figure it out.
I went to the beach a ton this summer. No pictures, stupid mom said something about sand in the camera. I love to chase the seagulls. So far they always get away but they can’t elude me forever. I also learned to play tag with the ocean. I run into the ocean and then when the water gets up to my knees I stop and wait. Once another big wave comes I run away as fast as I can.
I also spent some time camping. Since we were out there with the scenery we took the opportunity to take some photos for the Airedales-2010 calendar. We were going for rugged. I’m not sure if we pulled it off, because it was right after a fresh hair cut so I might be TOO pretty to make the calendar! I still love to sleep with my Ted every night but he looks a little different now. Here is a before shot of Ted and I snuggling in for bed. and here is a few months ago

We have been going to a new dog park where we have lots of good friends. I will tell you more about them latter, some of them even look like me. For now I will leave you with this excellent picture of my tongue.
