Crime!

I haven't had much to say recently.
Honestly I didn’t really know how to face you all. I still don’t, I guess I’ll just come out and say it.
Someone has stolen my family jewels. They were there when I fell asleep and then, when I woke up, they were gone. It’s like those stories you hear about waking up in a bathtub full of ice. I’m ashamed, embarrassed, but mostly I’m determined to go on. I’m not going to let this ruin all the fun that is yet to come (even if it did ruin my chances of living off the stud fees).
Mom said I have to stay kind of mellow this week. She said maybe my gonads weren’t stolen, maybe they just fell off cause I was playing too hard or something. I don’t think this is true, because I was really attached to them, so I know they were attached to me too! Just in case I’m going to take it easy. I’ve got a lot of other parts that I like, and a puppy dog can never be too careful. I was down in the dumps for about 12 hours before I returned to my normal sunnier disposition. This down time helped in my quest to become Errol’s best Buddy in the world (or third best). What your about to see (If mom can show me how to upload videos) isn’t the most amazing cat dog love-fest you’ve ever seen, but it is the most amazing cat dog love-fest we’ve had in our household so far.

"Insert video that won't work here"
Ok I don't think the video will work (Processing forever) and I'm not willing to sign up on youtube just to post a video here, so follows is a description of what you would have seen.

Me eating food from my food bowl, and Errol drinking water from MY waterbowl. AT THE SAME TIME. Right next to eachother. AND THEN... Errol leaves the room and I just watch him go. I didn't chase him and he didn't run. amazing simply amazing.

Of course, we are hoping that Bogart gets to see his dad healthy and at home very soon.

  1. Oh dear Digsby, bummer about your stud career being nipped in the bud. But as you say, there are lots of other good parts about you - you'll forget the missing ones soon enough.
    cheers,
    Ruby

  2. We both feel for ya Digs! You'll feel better in no time. Just make sure to keep calm and tell your mommy to give you lots of extra treats to help with the pain!

  3. Hey, Digsby!

Bummer about the 'nads, man. After mine up and left one day, I never let any of my balls out of my sight. Even if I deflate one or put a whole in it with my teeth, I won't let my girl throw them away!

I think cat/dog relations are severely underrated, so it's good to see you and Errol living in harmony. Eventually I hope we get to see some vid of your two living the love!

    Goober love,
    STanley

  4. Errol seems pretty full of himself drinking out of YOUR waterbown Digsby! Are you sure he wasn't the evil party that stole your family jewels?!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  5. Ok, first, grazie mille for stopping by to welcome me to the community. I am so happy to meet everyone! Second, my girl and I are sure glad you got through your recent "loss," and that you handled it all with such grace and dignity is proof of what a super Aire-boy you are. Third, I am re-staging the excavation of Pompeii in my yard and wanted to invite you by if you're ever in my neck of the woods. I get the feeling you're an expert digger -- well, your name says it all! -- and it would be great to have your help!

    Tanti baci!

  6. Digs, this brings back such memories. Feel free to drop by and say hello to me on my blog: erroltheorange.blogspot.com, but please don't put your paw on my head like old times.
